Description of Role
As Security Supervisor you will effectively supervise the delivery of the security function, providing clear instructions and ensuring all tasks are carried out whilst working in a team to provide Five Star excellence at all times. We are recruiting Security Supervisors in a part time capacity and applicants must hold a valid SIA license and have experience in a similar role. Essential Factors
- Professional, keen, well presented and approachable are a must.
- Hold a valid SIA license.
- Supervisory experience, leading and working as part of a team in security or related environment.
- Flexible and willing to work long unsociable hours.
- Work well with others, have good customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication.
- Ability to follow instructions given to them by either the venue or Five Star Security management, but also use own initiative where required.
- Reliable, trustworthy, resilient, able to deal with high pressure and sometimes challenging situations.
Must be 18+ years of age. - Proven history of leading large teams of Security Staff.
- The ability to train and develop the Security team in matters relating to the venue, company, and wider industry.
- Computer literate, proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Desirable Factors
- Driving License / Own transport.
- Hold a Close protection, CCTV license is desirable.
- Previous experience of staff scheduling.
